Historic Trinity just 14 km away offers summer theatre including the "NEW FOUND LANDE" Pageant an outdoor performance depicting the lives of fisherman and merchants in the 1800's.
Visit the Hiscock House built in 1881- a Provincial Historic Site and the
Lester Garland House built in 1821 by an English fishing merchant was rebuilt to its original form in 1997.
Scheduled boat tours leave Trinity throughout the summer to observe whales- humpbacks, minkes and porpoises. There are also eagles and ospreys in the area.
